Friday Fantastic Four - Baseball Opening Day Edition

It's Opening Day here in Philadelphia for one of the most-anticipated Phillies seasons in my lifetime.  We've got four aces AND Joe Blanton.  We've got a giant new video board and dozens of games already sold out. 

While we will have to wait a few weeks for Chase Utley, Placido Polanco and Dom Brown, the Phillies Paithful are ready to fill Citizens Bank Park for this afternoon's opener.

What are your four favorite things about baseball season?

1. Taking John to a game or two.
2. Listening to LA and Scott Franzke on the radio.
3. Reading about baseball on The700level.com and not hockey.
4. Hoping for another parade.

I'll play along - even though I am far from a sports fan =)

1. Going to a game or 2 with Ryan

2. Seeing my kids get excited and wearing their jerseys, hats, t-shirts, etc.

3. the pride and excitement i see in my community and surrounding area - it makes everyone feel good to have a "winner" - and we could all use a little of that these days.

4. generally (except for today) it means warm weather is right around the corner
