It's Friday the 13th. Some folks have an unreasonable fear of this day. It doesn't bother me, but I do have some odd fears of my own.
What four things are you afraid of?
- I am terrified of water. I can't swim and my nickname at the pool as a kid was 'leadbutt.' Thus, there are some issues.
- I am afraid of dentists. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they use pliers and flames and things. In your mouth. Barbarians!
- Heights and I - Uhh not so much. I want to not be afraid, but my body just isn't willing.
- I am afraid of dementia. I have spent all this time honing my brain into the incredible tool that it is and I don't want it dissolving into mush.
So what things scare you?
1. Centipedes
2. Caves
3. Bats
4. Mice--if there is ever, EVER a mouse discovered in my house, I will be packing up so fast, you won't even have time to call an exterminator.

So you admit that you're an incredible tool, huh?

Ben - your sense of humor has not improved since your exile to the land of the Tiger.

It took me a couple days to think of some things that "scare" me, so at least I know these aren't in my mind often :) In no particular order:
1. People who drive and text/answer email at the same time
2. Feeling trapped - physically and mentally
3. Certain types of facial hair
4. Movies about bad things happening to kids
And because this also made me think about things I love, you get a bonus round:
1. Hearing my kids laugh
2. Seeing my husband smile
3. Hanging out with friends old & new
4. Moving - exercise, walking, dancing, hiking, etc.
